Consultant Channel Sales

About the role:
India’s leading Educational ERP Software company, a Deloitte Fast 50 Company and ET Growth Champion Serosoft is looking for a Channel Sales Consultant who will be responsible for winning, onboarding, maintaining, and expanding relations with channel partners within  assigned territories globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively recruits new qualifying partners across assigned territories globally.
  • Ensures partner compliance with partner agreements.
  • Build upon partner strategy and execute GTM effectively at the field level to support partnerships.
  • Accelerate revenue and new customer acquisition through Serosoft’s channel partner program and meeting sales plan expectations.
  • Proactively assesses, clarifies and validates partner needs on an ongoing basis.
  • Close new business deals by coordinating with partners and internal direct sales teams.
  • Manages potential channel conflict with other firm sales channels by fostering excellent communications internally and externally, and through strict adherence to channel rules of engagement.
  • Measure and provide success metrics to partners and the business, analyzing business intelligence and making strategic adjustments.
  • Plan and manage contracts, messaging,organize product demos to the partners, technology sourcing, and go to market plans with the partner. 
  • Actively updates CRM on a time to time basis and works effectively. 
  • Keep timely updated about the necessary work updates,insights,market intelligence to the management.

Qualification and Skills:

  • A degree in business, sales, marketing, or related subjects.
  • 3+ years IT SaaS software sales experience (preferably Education industry experience)
  • With minimum 2 years channel/partner management experience.
  • Knows partner ecosystem and worked with different tiers of partners globally
  • Well versed with Channel partner lifecycle and can manage entire lifecycle
  • Expert in onboarding and driving Channel Partners globally.
  • Experience creating and managing sales reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ability to work as a team player, being proactive, and wanting to actively shape our growth; we’re looking for self-starters with a go-getter attitude.
