Diwali- The festival of lights reminds us of the festive season of joy, splendour, enthusiasm and happiness. This year again it lit up the lives of the members of Serosoft. Keeping with our office tradition, this occasion was celebrated this year with many twist and surprises – Firstly, The ladies of the house were given the charge to decorate the office. And on top of that, all the decorations were kept a surprise till the date of the event.

Thus started the Diwali spirits by the girls enthusiastically decorating their prearranged vicinity; the prizes to be distributed, the event details etc. Everything from decorative items to lanterns to festive lights was used and the ladies spared no effort to enliven the festive spirit.

Finally, the date of event was decided to be 9th November. Moreover, the whole theme and decoration was kept as a surprise. Everyone entering our office on 9thNovember was amazed as it was so colourful with different Rangolis. These beautiful Rangoli patterns were made of gorgeous diyas and colored sand. Along with that, the main office area and the cabins were decorated with soothing electric lamps. More surprises were in store for all the employees as they received personalized hand-made greeting cards which were very alluring.

As per the dress code, the guys sported ethnic look in Kurta’s while the pretty ladies wore beautiful Lehenga’s. Everyone tried to look at their very best as there were awards for ‘Best Dressed Male’ and ‘Best Dressed Female’ as well.

For the main event, through which Mr. Serosoft and Ms. Serosoft also were also to be decided, a fashion show was organized in which all the members had to do a ramp walk followed by a little description about them. The judges of the competition were Mr. Arpit and Mr. Siddharth along with Asha Madam. The qualified participants then had a performance round in which we saw various talents like singing, dancing, mimic etc. More filtering was done for the third and the last round in which the judges asked several questions. The participants were marked on the basis of the smartness and wittiness of their answers. So after 3 rounds of intense yet fun filled fashion show, we got our new Mr. Serosoft as Mr. Ankur Agrawal & Ms. Serosoft as Mrs. Shikha Atri. Also, the best dressed male award was won by Mr. Imran Qureshi and ‘Best Dressed Female’ was won by Mrs. Poonam Dhariwal.

The perfect end to this fun filled event was the DJ Night in which all the Serosofters along with the management cut themselves loose and bounced on the dance floor till late in the night. One could see that everybody enjoyed to the core and kicked in the festive spirits in the most awesome way in each and every Serosofter.
